Soursop, Annona muricata , a tree native to the Amazon Rainforest and other tropical areas, contains several bioactive compounds and phytochemicals. It produces a large fruit with a green, spiny skin and white flesh. The fruit is edible, and in Brazil, it is used to make a popular juice known as Guanábana.
